Job summary

Main Street Auto is seeking a courteous Service Advisor to greet customers, gather vehicle information, and act as the primary contact for maintenance and repair needs. You will coordinate appointments, prepare estimates, manage repair orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Store hours are 8AM-6PM (Mon-Fri) and 8AM-2PM Saturday; HR inquiries via [e-mail].

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive education a plus.
• Experience as a Service Advisor in automotive industry or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with automotive software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a friendly, professional atmosphere.
• Act as the main contact for customers; document concerns and communicate with technicians.
• Schedule and confirm service appointments; gather vehicle history and symptoms.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for parts and labor; obtain approval.
• Create and manage repair orders; maintain service records and ensure timely completion.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address issues.
