Job summary

Parks GMC - Kernersville is seeking a Service Advisor / Writer to schedule, advise and upsell maintenance with our established customer base. You will work closely with technicians to identify required services and communicate pricing and promotions to customers.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of Service Advisor experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks. No weekend work and immediate PTO are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Service Advisor experience is required.
• Must be adept at working a plan for success and understand the processes necessary to achieve objectives.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with customers.
• Meet and greet customers.
• Identify required maintenance using service history data.
• Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and promotions.
• Compute cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle as requested.
• Estimate cost of repairs and notify customer of all services.
• Enter itemized estimates on service orders and explain them to customers.
• Track progress of repair/service orders and inform customers accordingly.
• Ensure re-delivery check of customer vehicle and confirm items are completed.
• Review customer satisfaction surveys with service manager.
• Establish positive relationships with customers.

• Determine progress of repair/service orders and inform customer accordingly
• Ensure comprehensive re-delivery check of customer vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been carried out appropriately and on schedule
• Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with service manager
• Establish positive relationships with customers

Qualifications/Requirements – Service Advisor:

• At least 1 year of Service Advisor experience is required
• Must have experience with demonstrated success as an Auto Service Advisor/Writer and have a pattern of 'sticking around'.
• Must be adept at working a plan for success and understand the processes necessary to achieve their objectives.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid in-state driver's license
• Professional personal appearance
