Job summary

The Riverside Metro Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor in Riverside, CA. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the Service Department, guiding vehicle check-ins to delivery and coordinating with technicians to ensure repairs meet standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous automotive service advising experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide professional service throughout the repair process.
• Listen to customer concerns, perform vehicle walk-around inspections, and prepare repair orders.
• Verify warranty coverage, recalls, maintenance plans, and service contracts before initiating repairs.
• Explain recommended repairs, maintenance services, estimated costs, and completion times, and obtain customer authorization.
• Serve as liaison between customers, technicians, and Parts Department to ensure efficient communication.
• Monitor repair progress, communicate updates and delays to customers, and document all work.
• Review completed repairs with customers and address concerns or complaints.
• Maintain accurate repair order documentation in compliance with policy and warranty requirements.
• Follow all company policies and safety standards; keep workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
