Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of service advising experience in an auto dealership.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes is a plus.
• Technically savvy and able to learn scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and the service department, ensuring their vehicles receive top-notch care. You'll assist customers by assessing their service needs, preparing repair orders, and ensuring an outstanding experience every step of the way. Confident, customer service-minded people would be a great fit for this role.

Compensation

• $90,000.00 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assess their vehicle concerns, and record their needs
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer specifications and vehicle history
• Prepare detailed repair orders, including labor and parts estimates, for customer approval
• Communicate with customers about inspection results and recommend necessary corrective actions
• Provide updates on repair progress, explain costs, and secure customer authorization for additional work
• Advise customers on vehicle care, preventative maintenance, and available services
• Schedule service appointments, ensuring a seamless and efficient process
• Maintain high customer satisfaction standards by addressing concerns promptly
• Coordinate with technicians and ensure vehicles are serviced within the promised timeframe
• Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in Service Advising experience required.
• Service Advising in an Auto Dealership is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes is a plus
• Technically savvy and able to quickly learn computer and service scheduling software
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
