Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. in Windsor, CA is seeking a General Laborer I to join the production team. You will help ensure safety and efficiency while handling vehicles to produce core and scrap parts and assist customers in the yard.

Qualifications

• Follow verbal and written safety instructions, labels, and hazard communications.
• Work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote safety culture; wear PPE.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures; maintain professionalism.
• Safely remove Freon, fluids, batteries, and other materials per procedures.
• Extract gasoline, coolant, waste oil, and other fluids per procedures.
• Position vehicles to provide customers access to sellable parts; prepare for next set.
• Remove tires, motors, and selected core items per procedures.
• Dismantle engines and transmissions; harvest core materials.
• Operate tire machine to separate tires and prepare rims for shipment.
• Assist customers courteously; prepare Gaylord boxes and pallets; maintain logs and stormwater controls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
