Cox Automotive is seeking a Body Shop Painter II to join our team at a Cox location in the United States. The role involves surface refinishing, coating application, masking and preparation to restore vehicles for resale.

Pay is production‑based, $5 to $20 per flag hour, with potential bonuses or incentives. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED with several years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum: HS diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Willingness to comply with safety procedures including pre-employment drug testing.
• Ability to perform surface refinishing and color matching.

Responsibilities

• Performs surface refinishing work.
• Surface preparation (masking, sanding, priming, etc.).
• Handling, applying and disposing of surface coatings.
• Wearing and using safety equipment at all times.
• Following safety and health procedures.
• Assisting with special projects.
