Job summary

ESIS seeks an AGL Claims Representative to manage commercial auto and general liability property damage claims for client accounts in Connecticut. Reporting to the Claims Team Leader, you will investigate and resolve bodily injury claims promptly, fairly, and per guidelines.

You will interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, professionals, arrange property appraisals, review damages, set reserves within authority, and prepare investigations, settlements, denials, and evaluations for timely team

Responsibilities

• Review claims and policy information to determine obligations.
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, medical professionals, and others.
• Arrange appraisal of damaged property.
• Review and evaluate property damages.
• Assess facts to determine liability and policy obligation.
• Prepare investigation reports, settlements, denials, and evaluations.
• Set reserves within authority and recommend changes.
• Review progress with Team Leader and discuss challenges.
• Submit unusual exposures to Team Leader.
• Assist Team Leader in improving claims handling methods.
• Settle claims promptly and fairly.
