Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Lowell, MA to lead a high-energy team and drive profitability through effective P&L management and customer-focused DIY services.

You will coach staff, schedule weekly shifts, and ensure top-notch service while adhering to safety and operational standards. Prior automotive retail and supervisory experience strongly preferred; ASE credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Provide excellent customer service and address complaints promptly.
• Lead on-duty tasks: coaching, floor and phone management, scheduling.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory and POS systems.
