Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Stores Operations Supervisor to lead a fast-paced auto parts retail team. You will monitor sales performance, coach employees, ensure service quality, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent; additional technical schooling or a degree is a plus. You will build customer relationships, resolve questions promptly, and collaborate with the district office on procurement and vendor

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school, and/or college degree a plus.
• Requires demonstrated leadership in the automotive after-market service industry.
• Experience in automotive parts department, dealership, jobber or retail.

Responsibilities

• Monitors store sales performance daily, weekly, monthly and year-to-date.
• Identifies problems and solves them effectively.
• Develops good customer relations and maintains high service levels.
• Addresses customer sales/service questions promptly.
• Supervises and coaches store employees.
• Monitors and recognizes both good and unacceptable performance of employees.
• Minimizes inventory shrinkage through proper processes.
• Ensures timely receiving and proper stocking of merchandise.
• Maintains safety and ensures HazMat training is current.
• Builds relationships and negotiates with non-NAPA vendors on pricing and service.
• Works with the District office to maintain procurement card controls.
