Job summary

The Genuine Parts Company–NAPA Retail Store in Florida is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to apply automotive knowledge and leadership to deliver excellent customer service and keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will partner with the Store Manager, oversee counter sales, inventory, scheduling and safety while coaching team members and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and opening/closing duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the automotive after-market or willingness to learn.
• Leadership experience with teams in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for delivering customer care and building relationships.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales execution, inventory health, and staffing.
• Oversee opening and closing routines, cash reconciliation, and safety protocols.
• Lead counter sales, order pulling, receiving, stocking and delivery coordination.
• Monitor store metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop team members for succession.
