NAPA Auto Parts in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a store manager to lead a company-owned IBS store, drive ROI and customer service excellence, hire and develop staff, and uphold high standards. You will oversee inventory protection, asset management, and operations, implement IBS NAPA programs, and build relationships with vendors while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school, and/or college degree a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in automotive after-market service industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitors store sales performance daily, weekly, monthly and YoY.
• Identifies problems and solves them effectively.
• Develops good customer relations and maintains a high level of service to the customer.
• Addresses customer sales/service questions quickly.
• Supervises and coaches store employees.
• Monitors and recognizes performance, both good and unacceptable.
• Minimizes inventory shrinkage through proper processes and procedures.
• Ensures timely and accurate merchandise receipt and proper stockroom storage.
• Creates a safe work environment with HazMat training as needed.
• Minimizes employee time loss due to Worker's Compensation injuries.
• Interprets and complies with Company policies.
• Collaborates with District office to maintain procurement card controls.
• Builds relationships and negotiates with non-NAPA vendors on pricing, inventory and service.
