Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver a high level of service to retail and installer customers. You will greet customers, assist them in selecting merchandise, and support store management in daily tasks.

You will handle cash, exchanges, returns, and phone inquiries, quote prices, promote programs, and help with stock, planograms, and in-store services. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store.
• Familiar with automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist managers with service to professional customers.
• Process cash, checks, credit card transactions, and returns.
• Handle phone inquiries, look up parts, and quote prices.
• Maintain cash drawer and secure handling.
• Assist with stock, planograms, and shelf presentation.
• Perform in-store services (where permitted) and drive-store duties as needed.
