Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish desired).

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls per policy, looking up parts and quoting prices, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process payments and make change.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, cleaning, etc.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock adjustments and inventory counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (where allowed) such as wiper installation and battery tests.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if required.
