Job summary

The Genuine Parts Company's NAPA Store Pro role is the frontline contact for customers in our retail location. You will help retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts solutions, using product knowledge to drive satisfaction and repeat business.

In a fast-paced environment, you will operate POS and inventory systems, assist with inquiries, coordinate deliveries, and support store operations while maintaining a welcoming, high-energy service standard.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members.
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations.
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records.
• Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed to optimize store performance, merchandising, and overall efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and operational standards.
