Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, meet sales and service objectives, and assist customers with battery installs, wiper installs, and parts lookups.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends. Entry to 2–3 years of retail sales experience is preferred; safety and inventory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and reading comprehension required.
• Basic automotive system and parts knowledge.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
