Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Minnesota is seeking a Salesperson to deliver excellent DIY customer service, drive sales and support in-store operations. You will assist customers, perform basic services like battery installation and wiper installs, maintain inventory, and use store systems.

The role can be part-time or full-time; requires basic automotive knowledge, English communication, and reliability. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, instruction manuals, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
