Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and inventory, with opportunities for part-time or full-time schedules.

Fleet safety certification is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store and by phone, achieving personal sales goals, and performing DIY services like battery installations and wiper replacements while

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math to compute figures in all units of measure.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
