O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations in Norwich, CT. This role includes shift management duties when needed and encourages bilingual candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, auto parts preferred.
• Automotive systems knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Oversee returns and exchanges, process refunds, and secure merchandise as required.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and communicate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
• Oversee scheduling, clock-in/out, and day end procedures; secure money and deposits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
