Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management duties in the manager's absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading store team members, overseeing customer service levels, processing orders, handling returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and related programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Ensure returns are processed and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise and core charges before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money and premises.
