Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Delegate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
• Manage clock-in/out and adherence to work schedule.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
