Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, and operations. You may assume shift management in managers’ absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and help lead a team in daily store activities. You will supervise customer service for retail and professional customers, handle orders and transfers, and ensure accurate invoicing and refunds.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Bilingual abilities with Spanish highly desired.
• RSS Certification is required; ASE Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and ledger.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and manage merchandise staging.
• Ensure merchandise including core charges and warranties are invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor scheduling, approvals for changes, and clock-ins/outs per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
