Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in Virginia to provide expert automotive parts knowledge and top-tier service to DIY customers. The role covers parts identification, advanced store system usage, and supporting battery testing and installations.

You will manage sales targets and assist with inventory, while upholding safety and store standards. The position is full-time and requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties such as opening/closing and safety tasks.
• Assist in inventory processes: cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems efficiently.
