Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Retail Parts Pro. This professional sales role supports advanced DIY services, expert store systems, and part knowledge to assist customers in person and over the phone.

You will perform battery installs, diagnostics, parts lookup, and operate POS. 3-5 years automotive parts experience, valid driver's license, and ASE certification preferred. Full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
