Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager in Pittsburgh to drive store sales and service while growing professional customer relationships. You will lead hiring, development and performance of a team, enforce inventory and operational standards, and manage on-duty store leadership to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong financial acumen, 50-55 hour weeks, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High school diploma or GED;Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire develop coach and engage store team members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Coach team to meet customer expectations for DIY and Professional services.
• On-duty management including coaching, floor/phone management, and safety duties.
