Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to inspire our team, grow our Professional Customer relationships, and drive sales with integrity. The role demands understanding store systems, automotive parts knowledge, and hands-on leadership to coach a 10-20 member team.

Expect a 50-55 hour work week, with 11-hour shifts, 5-6 days. ASE certification is preferred, bachelor's in business desirable, and strong P&L skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years managing a team of 10-20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong financial and business acumen with P&L awareness.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store Team Members.
• Lead on-duty activities: coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment.
• Lead change management and safety compliance.
• Provide DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Oversee inventory and store operations; ensure stock accuracy.
