Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager in Rome, GA to lead a high-performing retail team. You will drive sales, build professional customer relationships, and model excellent service while managing inventory and operations. This role requires 50-55 hours weekly, rotating days, nights, and weekends.

You will hire, coach, and develop Team Members, ensure safety, and monitor P&L performance to meet financial targets. ASE can be a plus; a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervising a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail env.
• Experience achieving store sales goals and service metrics.
• Familiar with automotive parts and DIY customers.
• Bachelor's degree or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage professional customer relationships and program growth.
• Oversee selection, hiring, development, performance mgmt., coaching, and scheduling of team members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Lead and coach team to meet customer expectations for DIY and Professional.
• Handle manager-on-duty responsibilities and safety compliance.
• Embrace change and foster a respectful environment for customers and staff.
