Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Garner, NC is seeking a reliable delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, with ability to pick up returns and cores and drop off sales flyers while promoting current promotions.

In this role you will build relationships with Key Pro customers, assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value, maintain store cleanliness and inventory knowledge, and help walk-in customers find the right parts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Comfortable handling math and inventory tasks.
• Willing to learn new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
