Job summary

The Parts Authority is seeking an Auto Parts Specialist to serve as the primary voice on the phone, assisting automotive clients, repair shops, and car owners with part orders and inquiries. You will manage orders, verify stock, and provide timely updates to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service or related experience required.
• Proficient in basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, browsers, Gmail).
• Punctual and consistent attendance.
• Adapts quickly to changing work environments and can follow directions.
• Ability to type 45 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from automotive clients and repair shops to identify, order, and track parts.
• Process telephone orders accurately using internal parts database and check stock.
• Resolve inquiries about part compatibility, order status, returns, and delivery updates.
• Maintain relationships with repeat commercial clients and first-time callers with friendly, knowledgeable service.
