Genuine Parts Company in Des Moines, IA seeks a Counter Sales associate to greet customers, share auto parts knowledge, and ensure a positive shopping experience at the counter. This role may be full-time with opportunities to grow within the NAPA family.

You will engage customers, answer questions, and use a POS system and catalog to fulfill needs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Competenze

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast paced retail environments.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.

Mansioni

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person at the counter/over the phone.
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions for customers.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores.
• Welcome retail customers into our stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.
