Job summary

PepsiCo in Dayville, CT is hiring a Palletizing Operator to program and monitor automated equipment that builds pallets for Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. You will ensure product is moved safely and on schedule, and you’ll follow safety protocols and LOTO requirements.

Work hours are 2nd shift, Tuesday through Saturday, from 3:50 pm to 12:00 am, with on-the-job training and opportunities for long-term career growth at PepsiCo.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated/robotic palletizing equipment to build stable, accurate pallets
• Program product codes, validate case counts, and make adjustments based on production needs
• Troubleshoot the stacker and related equipment, and consistently follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols
• Set up palletizing boards in the proper areas and ensure accurate flow of finished goods on the conveyor system
• Use computer terminals to input or request information based on the production schedule and document required checks
