Job summary

Caliber Collision Walnut is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the Auto Painter, ensuring a smooth workflow in a busy production shop. Duties include sanding and buffing and maintenance of paint booth and workspace. Auto Painter Helpers will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in paint operations in a collision center.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or collision vo-tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff as part of prep work.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace to keep a safe, clean environment.
