Job summary

Caliber Collision in Waldorf, MD is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter. Duties include sanding and buffing, plus maintaining the paint booth and workspace using state-of-the-art equipment.

Auto Painter Helpers will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards. Paid weekly with overtime eligibility for hourly workers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for Caliber’s insurance.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting and assist Auto Painter.
• Sand, buff, and prep components for finishing.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace cleanliness and safety.
• Repair vehicles thoroughly and safely in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards.
• Support efficient workflow in collaboration with the Auto Painter.
