Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a range of vehicles. The role offers a $1,500 New Hire Tool Bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for training through Cox Auto University.

Responsibilities include oil/filter changes, battery work, brake and suspension diagnostics, and AC service. A valid license and 1+ year experience are required; GED or high school diploma preferred.

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Safe driver with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto maintenance duties such as oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspections.
• Handle battery testing, maintenance and replacement; diagnose and repair starting and charging systems.
• Carry out repairs including tires, safety inspections, and interior/exterior components; diagnose brake, steering and suspension systems.
• Evacuate and recharge AC systems; perform equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with approved vendors for parts and potentially upfit new vehicles.
