Job summary

Northwest Federal Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Servicing Specialist to manage auto loan titles, lien recordation, releases, and insurance policies across direct and indirect portfolios.

You will handle title and insurance exceptions with third-party vendors, process payoffs, respond to member inquiries, and resolve account discrepancies while upholding BSA regulations and NWFCU policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of consumer loan experience to include auto loans at a financial institution.
• Experience in a financial institution, dealership or call center may substitute for consumer loan experience.
• Knowledge of credit union operations, policies and procedures, and credit union account structure preferred.
• Understanding of DMV titling process preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and initiative; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain auto loan titles including lien recordation and release for direct and indirect portfolios.
• Manage insurance policies on auto loan portfolio.
• Process auto loan payoffs and respond to member requests regarding titles and insurance.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and internal/external member requests.
• Provide quality member service via multiple communication channels.
• Adhere to NWFCU policies and BSA regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
