Qualifications

• 5+ years of collections experience with charged-off accounts preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal/state/local collections regulations.
• Team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls with charged-off accounts to negotiate repayment or settlement.
• Conduct skip tracing and asset searches as needed; coordinate with external services.
• Assess and initiate appropriate legal actions; liaise with in-house counsel.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts and actions taken; ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
