Safelite is hiring a Technician Trainee in Bridgehampton, NY. In this role, you will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician through hands-on and classroom training. You will receive the Safelite SafeTech certification upon completing the training program and be equipped with the skills necessary for unsupervised glass repairs and replacements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.

Skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

Problem-solving abilities

Excellent customer service skills

Education

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Valid state-issued driver’s license
