Job summary

A leading auto glass service provider in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Technician Trainee to learn and develop skills in auto glass repair and replacement. This role provides hands-on training and supports the trainee in obtaining Safelite certification. Starting pay is $21.25/hour, increasing to $25.25/hour post-training, along with a robust benefits package including tuition reimbursement and 401(k). Candidates must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems.

Skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods

Proficiency in using hand and power tools

Problem-solving skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent
