Job summary

Tri City Glass & Door is seeking an Auto Glass Technician to repair and replace auto glass at our shop and on-site at business accounts. This role focuses on maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering high-quality service for the Auto Glass department.

You will work under the Lead Technician, learn installation practices, and perform tasks safely and efficiently using approved materials and methods. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform shop math.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and review customer orders with Lead Technician and prepare materials and tools.
• Work under supervision until able to install independently.
• Maintain above-average customer service.
• Commit to learning and staying current in auto glass practices.
• Use proper installation methods and safety equipment.
• Comply with regulations and use approved products.
• Complete DOW certification and manage inventory and orders.
• Record serial numbers, vehicle info, and product IDs on work orders.
