Job summary

Tri City Glass & Door is seeking an Automatics Service Technician to safely install and repair glass products, automatic operators, and security systems for clients. You will read shop drawings, diagnose issues, coordinate parts, and perform field installations of various automatic doors and related components.

The role requires AAADM certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must maintain AAADM certification.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate power tools.
• Background check required to work in correctional facilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, tape measures, levels and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete installation or repair of glass products and related systems.
• Read and understand work orders, shop drawings, wiring diagrams and architectural plans.
• Diagnose issues with entrance security systems and automatic operators.
• Coordinate with the service team to procure necessary parts.
• Install and service automatic doors, door hardware, locks and electronics.
• Train other technicians on procedures for troubleshooting and repair.
