Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in the United States. You’ll be trained through hands-on and classroom sessions to become a Safelite-certified Technician, capable of glass repair, replacement and recalibrations with a strong service mindset.

You’ll start with paid training, observe and assist with installations, and progress through testing to advance toward Senior Tech and Master Tech levels based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it safely.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
