Job summary

Safelite in Mount Airy, NC is seeking a Technician Trainee to undergo training to become a proficient auto glass technician. You will learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, eventually earning the Safelite SafeTech certification.

This role offers competitive pay beginning at $19.25/hour, transitioning to $22.75/hour post-training. You'll also have access to a comprehensive benefits package valued over $10k annually and opportunities for additional perks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.

Skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Use a variety of hand and power tools
