Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in Athens, GA to learn auto glass installation and repair, including recalibration of safety systems. You’ll train hands-on and in the classroom to achieve Safelite SafeTech certification, while demonstrating a can-do attitude and dedication to high-quality customer service.

During training you’ll earn $20.25 per hour, rising to $24.00 after certification. Benefits include a robust package, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn Safelite methods and safety standards.
• Permit to operate a company vehicle with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Participate in paid training to become Safelite-certified Technician.
