Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a full-time Auto Glass Technician who owns day-to-day service operations and builds rapport with customers. The role includes repair, replacement, and installation of all vehicle glass, ADAS calibrations, and maintaining a high-urgency pace in a busy shop.

Responsibilities include inspecting windshields, performing repairs, communicating with insurers, measuring glass, installing windshields, applying glue, and cleaning interiors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive glass experience.
• Omega Glass system experience preferred.
• Strong tech skills: Outlook, Teams, Word.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Continuous learner with desire for career growth.
• Must work with high sense of urgency and pace.
• Must stand for long periods in shop environments.
• Ability to read and understand service information; program vehicles; diagnose and verify concerns.

Responsibilities

• Inspect windshields and glass to estimate repair.
• Repair glass by cutting and applying adhesives.
• Coordinate with insurance for repairs and filings.
• Measure glass pieces for correct size/shape.
• Install windshields and glass panels using appropriate tools.
• Apply adhesive and position windshield in vehicle frame.
• Clean interior surface to remove residue.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
