Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a full-time Auto Glass Technician to own day-to-day service operations and build strong rapport with customers. The role involves repair, replacement, and installation of all vehicle glass, including ADAS calibrations across makes/models, in a fast-paced shop.

The candidate will perform inspections, measurements, windshield installations, and communicate with insurers to obtain repair authorization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive glass experience.
• Omega Glass system experience preferred.
• Strong technological skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in automotive shop environments.
• Must have a safe driving record and a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect windshields and auto glass to estimate repairs.
• Repair windshields and glass panels, including cutting and applying adhesives.
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain authorization and file claims.
• Measure glass pieces to ensure correct size and shape.
• Install windshields and glass panels in vehicles.
• Apply adhesive to windshield interior and position it in the frame.
• Clean interior windshield surface to remove manufacturing residue.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
