Chase Auto is seeking an Underwriter III in Auto Finance to review policy and pricing exceptions and support daily operations. You will structure decisions to optimize profit, process applications with emphasis on speed and quality, and contribute to ROE and volume targets.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in auto credit.
Experience reviewing credit bureau reports.
Proficiency in credit decisioning and understanding consumer credit regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of indirect loan, refinance, direct and lease programs, and bank products.

Responsibilities

Review credit applications and make credit decisions per policy and regulations.
Assist with daily operations by reviewing policy and pricing exceptions.
Structure decisions to maximize profit and strengthen relationships.
Process automobile applications focusing on response time, volume, and approval quality.
Meet or exceed ROE, volume, conversion, and other metrics.
Initiate sales calls and follow up in writing when needed.
Provide prompt, accurate responses to customer inquiries.
