Job summary

National General is seeking an experienced Auto Field Adjuster to join the field estimating team in central New Jersey, covering Middlesex and Union Counties. This field-based role requires strong auto damage assessment skills and proficiency with CCC One estimating software to deliver accurate estimates and timely service to policyholders.

The successful candidate will negotiate settlements, manage the full estimating process, and maintain clear customer communication throughout the claims

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in auto damage assessment.
• Strong proficiency with CCC One estimating software.
• Negotiation and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Applies policy interpretations and assists leadership in training.
• Negotiates settlements and documents all activities in complex files.
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Builds relationships with internal and external customers.
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create damages estimates for 1st and 3rd party losses.
