Job summary

CarMax in Easton, PA, seeks an Auto Repair Specialist I to perform diagnostics, mechanical and cosmetic repairs on customer and internal vehicles, ensuring safety and quality. You will deliver outstanding service throughout the repair process and contribute to our fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Complete CarMax New Associate Orientation and Kronos Training.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for records.
• Strong multitasking in a high-energy environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions; nights/weekends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Maintain ASE certifications as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and complete mechanical and cosmetic repairs on all vehicle systems
• Inspect vehicles to meet CarMax Quality Standards and complete state inspections when required
• Manage repair orders, ensuring accuracy in labor, parts, and billing documentation
• Utilize proprietary and universal software systems
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following CarMax 5S standards and safety protocols
• Provide leadership and functional expertise to support associates and managers across the store
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
