Job summary

Recharged is seeking a Detailer to cosmetically prepare EV inventory for sale. You will present vehicles to meet high standards and support the team with vehicle reconditioning and delivery readiness.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a passion for customer experience. Prior automotive experience helps, but a willingness to learn is essential, and you must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or in the automotive industry is advantageous but not required.

• Ability to operate vehicles safely and perform spot basic vehicle issues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Management: Ensure all vehicles are properly detailed, in order and on time.
• Workspace Maintenance: Keep the garage clean and organized and safe.
• Vehicle Presentation: Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable per Recharged standards; collaborate with inventory manager to rectify issues.
• Coordination: Support reconditioning operations and assist with vehicle prep for customer delivery.

About the Role

The Detailer will be responsible for cosmetically preparing our EV inventory for sale. This role involves assisting with vehicle presentation, ensuring each vehicle meets our high standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a passion for contributing to a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Management: Ensure that all vehicles on the lot are properly detailed, in order and on time.
• Workspace Maintenance: Keep the garage clean and organized and ensure that the work area is safe and free of hazards.
• Vehicle Presentation: Ensure that all vehicles are clean and presentable, meeting the Recharged standard. If issues are noticed, collaborate with the inventory manager to rectify.
• Coordination: Work closely with the reconditioning team to support reconditioning operations. Assist with the preparation of vehicles for customer delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role or in the automotive industry is advantageous but not required. A strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, such as walking, standing, and lifting.

Driving Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's motor vehicle insurance carrier. Willingness to submit a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for review is required.
