Philadelphia Insurance Companies seeks a Claims Supervisor II - Commercial Auto - BI to lead a claims handling unit in a hybrid work environment. The role involves supervising adjusters, overseeing investigations, and ensuring adherence to procedures while meeting budgets and service targets.

The candidate will participate in hiring, training and developing staff, with expected collaboration with underwriting and cross-functional teams. Arizona Phoenix is a preferred location.

Qualifications

• 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate in Claims, CPCU or other industry related studies.
• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Basic Word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises claims adjusters and technical support staff to manage day-to-day handling and settlement of claims, processing and tracking of documents, making payments, and communicating with underwriting.
• Oversees investigation of insurance claims and ensures adherence to corporate claims handling procedures and priorities.
• Monitors budget, productivity, and customer service targets within the claims unit.
• Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and development of the claims staff.
