Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate in Claims, CPCU or other industry related studies.
• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Basic Word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises claims adjusters and technical support staff to manage day-to-day handling and settlement of claims, processing and tracking of documents, making payments, and communicating with underwriting.
• Oversees investigation of insurance claims and ensures adherence to corporate claims handling procedures and priorities.
• Ensures department targets for customer service quality and productivity are met and budgets are respected.
• Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and development of the claims staff.
